Dear Room 14,We had a special guest, Nina Rycroft, who came to our school to share her experience as an illustrator this morning. We have had a quick look at most of her amazing artwork, and we have learnt that it takes time to craft and polish your work in order to create a quality product. Sometimes we need to go back and re-work or edit our work to make it better!
A big thank-you to our school librarian Bronwyn who has organised and invited Nina to come and talk to us about how she gets ideas from things or people around her, how she organises her ideas using a storyboard, how she uses the setting to enhance the characterisation, etc. We had a good time with Nina!
