Citizenship

Dear Room 17 and parents/caregiver,

Welcome back to Term 4! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

This term for our Rich Task we are talking about 'citisenship' and 'justice and injustice'. Can you answer the following questions:

* What does 'citisenship' mean to you?
* What is a good citizen? What are the characteristics?
* What are the rights or responsibilites of being a citizen, for example, at school?
* How to become an active citizen in your community?

You may like to have a chat with your family or friends and feel free to post your thoughts and ideas to exchange with others. See you in class!

Lily

Hi room 17, I loved reading your posts, very thoughtful.

Do you think being a good citizen of a school, country, continent, or the world, differs at all?

Dancy I am so pleased to hear you were excited about the dawn blessing, it was a very special time for us all.
